Campestre is the name given to the working village of Mineracao Barreto S.A., in the city of Jaramataia - Al, where the reserves of MB-4 rocks are located. It's a quiet place where despite the constant drought there's the green of the "Algaroba trees" which welcome us for peace and health.

It's different from the rest of the world where couples don't need to ask for medical help in order to have children, the crops grow on land that's never had any agrochemical sprayed on.. The local people grew their own corn, beans and cotton. After 30 years in this place I've never seen anybody, young or old, complain about pain in the body, kidney stones and heart diseases. The number of births grew around April and May (rainy months). The frequent rain made driving difficult along the sandy roads in the attempt of taking the mums-to-be to hospital.

In 1987, we were honoured to welcome and meet the naturalist doctor Edson Hiroshi Seo. He was taken aback to see a herd of sheep walk past and at the end of the group he saw a sheep and four offsprings. He asked if the mother had rejected them. He was really surprised once more when he was told that the offsprings were all by the sheep ahead and had been born at one time and also that they were all being breastfed. He also asked if it was common around here. He was told it wasn't that common but sometimes it happened. Three offsprings are common. The Brazilian average is 1.7 for each birth whereas Campestre has an average of 2.5.

During a conference held in Arapiraca - Al , professor Hiroshi spoke of what he'd seen in Campestre, the fertility of the sheep and the reason for that. He said that the sheep fed on healthy plants nourished with the MB-4 rock powder. That's why they are fertile and could breastfeed all her four offsprings. Months later, we heard of a woman who'd been said by her doctors she wouldn't be able to have children. Her husband had attended the conference and told her about the sheep in Campestre. His wife put a teaspoon of MB-4 in a glass of water and drank it. One month later, she found out she was pregnant. She later told her husband about the MB-4. She now has a lovely and healthy baby girl.

It's in Campestre that we find the rocks that originate the MB-4 and through the rifts of those rocks the SP-1 (the life water) springs up which is pumped out to meet people's needs. The water springs up from a place called Imburana, forming a beautiful green lake.
After the knowledge gained about the health of plants, animals and men we started to call it Campestre "the health paradise".

In order to make it public the Mibasa group gave the "go ahead" to the CANES (Natural food is healthy campaign) group to advertise the "Health Tourism" in the region for the population, specially the knowledge to be later remembered and used.

The health tourism is a resource that the CANES used in Campestre, so observation points were built up in strategic places looking out onto the Imburana lake. A village called the health village was built to give emphasis to the kingdoms of nature and to the professionals who work in it.

A walk around the Imburana lake

Besides the mineral reserves with healing properties "the health paradise" was gifted with beautiful landscapes like the Imburana Lake where the "Natural food is healthy campaign" group built up four observation points according to the cardinal points.

Each observation point represents a station. The visitors go through all four stations, three of them are represented by the kingdoms of nature where the visitors can have the chance to see the damage caused to each kingdom and the fourth station is the observation point where people reflect and we ask them: Health or Disease?

The visitor's life style represented by the walk through the first three stations will outline the person's future, represented by the fourth: "Health or Disease".
So, at the end of the day the visitors will be aware that their health will depend on their attitude towards nature. If we allow nature to be destroyed we will be paving the way for suffering and death.

A visit to the health village

In order to give knowledge to the visitors for a healthier and peaceful life, the CANES (Natural food is healthy campaign) group suggested building a village.
The health village has a square and around it there's a fountain, it also has a snack bar, a shop and two houses with toilets. The facilities follow the style of the local houses.

The square has a rectangular shape and right in the middle of it a hammer used by geologists was built and laid on the ground and a serpentine rock was placed right in front. It's a tribute to both the mineral kingdom and to all geologists.

The fountain is the place where people can have the chance to get the SP-1 (the life water) freely and on the wall opposite it's written SP-1 that stands for the agronomist Sebastiao Pinheiro, who first indicated the water for medical purposes. It's a fair tribute to the plant kingdom and to the professionals of agriculture.

To the east of the square there's a monument with a sign that says: Dr.Mario Mourao Square. "We are literally made from the lime of the earth. That's why our body and soul are influenced by the geological constitution of the soil where we live and by the nature of the plants and animals we eat". - 1945.

The name of the square is a tribute to the animal kingdom and the professionals of medicine.
The snack bar offers natural products and is called the kingdom of nature. The souvenir shop is called "SAUdaDE" (special word used in Portuguese when you really miss someone or something).

Taking advantage of another benefit that nature gifted the health paradise with and studying the good results that the salty waters bring to beauty and health, a pond was built at the bank of a dam in Campestre. The water was so salty that even the horses didn't drink it. Through laboratory tests, we found out that the water was very rich in magnesium with more than 1.300mg/l and some more macro elements besides a huge amount of trace elements.

The literature assures that magnesium-rich water has good effects over beauty and health. Those good qualities have been experienced around the world so we named it the Beauty Fountain. As Mrs Maria Luna was always craving for beauty, the new fountain is called: Maria Luna (the beauty fountain).

The waters from the beauty fountain were used in many ways, for instance, to make salt, as a mineral supplement to animals, as leaf fertilizer and for baths, with good effects over beauty and health.

Lot of trees were planted around the water reservoir to boost the local beauty.
The use of salty waters brought about the idea of using the existing waters of the region as a salts supplier for health and as water for the population.

Instead of being a problem, the salty water is a solution to water shortages and humankind diseases turning our "Sertao"(region of severe drought) into a feasible place to live.
The area hit by the constant drought covered by a crystalline shield makes up 70% of the northeast of Brazil.

In order to make the parched land livable some salines were built as model for those interested in using the salty waters as suppliers for the health of plants, animals and men. The Mibasa technical department started off looking for ways to make use of the salts and how to separate it from the water.

The use of the salts

It's believed that there are more than 14.000 different uses for the salts. It's used as currency in some regions; it's also used for hygiene and in chemical industry but it's widely used in foods.
The seawater has 84 elements. The common salt has used in cooking has 2 elements, chlorine and sodium, or a maximum of 3 when iodine is added to it.

Therefore, 81 elements are not present in the food we eat. This is a serious problem, the soils are poor, there's lack or total absence of minerals in the food we eat so the addition of a complete salt during the food preparation is an excellent complement to it. The use of a good salt improves both the quality and taste of foods.

An area was chosen to remember those who contributed with new ideas and knowledge, etc. The tribute will be represented by a typical tree representing the plant kingdom, a rock representing the mineral kingdom and a sign bearing the name of the person representing the animal kingdom.

The Campestre maze "The health paradise" - Jaramataia - Al was the idea of the physicist Andre Luiz whose inspiration came from another maze in Creta. Aiming at boosting the existing telluric energy intensity (18.000 Angstrons) , all trenches were dug 20cm deep and later filled in with 18cm of MB-4 rock powder and 2cm of ground quartz.

Mazes are buildings used by some esoteric people as a symbol of birth and death.
The central part of the Campestre maze is a flower-shaped island with seven petals representing the unknown, the self and unconscious. The bridge separates the conscious from the unconscious, life from death.

The entrance to the maze means birth and the many bends up and down mean the obstacles of a person's life. Going over the bridge means leaping into the unknown where important things about our life and health can be revealed.

The gateway to a good life

You must walk barefoot along the Campestre maze, the health paradise. If you wish, you can sit on one of the exiting rocks, meditate and later carry on up to the centre. After going over the bridge, pick up a copy of the Lord's Prayer, read it, sit on one of the rocks and meditate. After the meditation, walk back to the beginning.
